Use ISO 9001:2015 to connect daily metrics to business strategy.
For many manufacturers across the state, the ISO 9001:2015 business management system is an outstanding way to manage a successful business. We believe in the system so much, we here at Enterprise Minnesota are ISO 9001:2015 certified ourselves.
Over the past five years, Enterprise Minnesota consultants have helped more than 100 manufacturing companies achieve their ISO 9001:2015 certification. The certification enhances OEM relationships, but savvy manufacturers appreciate how it improves their internal management structure.
For manufacturers interested in becoming ISO certified, or who need a refresher of its key components, ISO expert Keith Gadacz will be presenting A Model for Manufacturing Excellence Using ISO 9001:2015 from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. on August 2nd online via Zoom.
Keith will demonstrate how manufacturers can leverage ISO to higher levels of operational excellence. Or, as Keith likes to put it, “taking your business from average to excellent.”
“A business management system,” Keith says, “is an organizational framework that helps your business plan its resources, set its strategic direction, and deliver that through operations so your customers experience full satisfaction. It also allows you to analyze your data to make today better and tomorrow even better than that.”
Keith will break down the essential components of the ISO 9001:2015 system and show how they can all work together to help drive a business forward. By making the system very approachable, he illustrates how daily work-cell metrics can and should connect all the way to the organizational goals and overall business strategy.
An ISO certification can help companies enter new markets and maintain good client relations, but it is also a powerful tool to helping an organization work towards common goals.
