Perfect Pairing

The Weekly Report – July 15, 2024
Two of our top consultants, Ally Johnston and Michele Neale, are teaming up to offer a manufacturing workshop on leadership skills and continuous improvement.

What’s better than a lively and interactive session on lean thinking and continuous improvement? One that includes insight on leadership skills development too.

At our August 14 manufacturing workshop, Leading Daily for Results, business growth consultants Ally Johnston and Michele Neale will show participants how a well-led and clearly defined process for managing work can boost employee retention, enhance leadership development and drive continuous improvement.

Johnston helps manufacturers to improve productivity, eliminate waste and build a culture of continuous improvement. Neale helps manufacturers improve company cultures and develop effective leaders at all levels of their business.

By combining their insights in one workshop, they will give participants a comprehensive understanding of how to integrate leadership training with continuous improvement efforts. Using our Leading Daily for Results approach, Johnston and Neale will show attendees how to help leaders work with their teams to identify and measure progress toward daily goals that fuel larger objectives within their organizations.

Leading Daily for Results has helped countless manufacturers design and implement a winning process for teams. Leaders have learned to align and connect their organizations’ strategic objectives with daily improvements by employees to yield sustained results.

Johnston’s refreshing approach to continuous improvement encourages managers to give employees the authority and skills to recognize and act on opportunities for process improvement. “With the right processes in place, employees are engaged at an authentic and high level,” she says. “They are tasked to improve the company’s processes every day. They are empowered to make bold suggestions and try new things.”

Leadership development – one of Neale’s specialties – is a perfect fit for Leading Daily for Results. “We can help leaders develop the skills needed to shape a workplace culture that creates not only individual success but team success and, ultimately, organizational success.”

We hope you can join us for the workshop on Wednesday, August 14 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the Monticello Community Center.

Key takeaways include:
• Developing critical skills in lean thinking and leadership across teams
• Building “daily dialogue” into everyday management practices
• Creating a sustainable communication process throughout your company
• Establishing leadership presence to get the results you want
