The Weekly Report – September 22, 2021
How much fun is it when we can all get together to network and talk about manufacturing?
We’ll have that chance once again when we meet for our biggest event of the year. We will be gathering in person (yes, we’re meeting in person this year) to discuss our 2021 State of Manufacturing® survey from 3 to 7 p.m. on Nov. 10 at the Minneapolis Marriott Northwest.
Our staff always looks forward to this annual meeting. It tells us so much about our industry, what is being done to keep us moving forward, and how we can continue to help you grow your business profitably. Plus, we get to do it with all of you, live and in person, again this year.
There’s no doubt COVID-19 impacted our lives. The virus created a lot of unique challenges for manufacturers. Those challenges and some other issues are still a large part of our lives, but so are the successes. We’re going to talk about all of it.
This year’s State of Manufacturing survey revealed some interesting facts. That information is very important for all of us. Our pollster, Rob Autry, founder of Meeting Street Insights, joins Enterprise Minnesota’s President and CEO Bob Kill and others to talk about this year’s survey.
How are we all feeling about manufacturing, COVID-19, and the economy? What are manufacturers doing not only to survive, but to thrive? How many of us can answer those questions? We are all dealing with these things in our own ways. Join us to find out what manufacturing leaders are doing. Some of their solutions might give you ideas on the best ways to deal with your own challenges.
Rob interviewed over 400 Minnesota Manufacturers. They provided thoughts, insights, and opinions on the issues many of you are facing. These are unique times. Many leaders have done interesting things and they have some great ideas that kept their production moving, supply lines connected, and profits coming in.
That’s information we can all use. Our event will include a discussion on the survey’s results, networking, refreshments, and more.
Please join us for an afternoon of important information and discussion about manufacturing. And, hey, we get to do it together and as a community. How great is that! The event is free and open to everyone who supports manufacturing.
